Dr. Jonathan E. Betts
Dr. Jonathan E. Betts received
his veterinary degree from UC Davis in 1978 and began his
career at Woodburn Veterinary Clinic that same year.
Dr. Betts has been actively involved with many professional
organizations to include:
• Oregon Veterinary Medical Association – (Veterinarian
of the year in 2007)
• American Veterinary Medical Association
• Marion Polk Veterinary Association (MPVA)
• American Association of Bovine Practitioners (AABP)
• Oregon Veterinary Emergency Response Team (OVERT)
• Oregon Veterinary Examining Board (OVMEB) serving as a
director and the Chairperson
• American Association of Veterinary Boards (AAVSB)
serving as a director
• Woodburn Veterinary Clinic (President/Partner,
retired)
• North American Veterinary Educational Consortium,
currently serving as a Director
Dr. Betts believes strongly in his community and is involved
in French Prairie Kiwanis (Charter member), serving as
Past-President, and Treasurer. He is an avid supporter of
Woodburn Schools and has served on the Budget committee. As
a mixed practice veterinarian, he has always had an interest
in Future Farmers of America, (FFA) and has been active in
the FFA Alumni to include serving as the Treasurer. He is a
diligent supporter of the local Food Bank, and currently
serves as Treasurer.
