Dr. Katherine Z. Block

Dr. Katherine Z. Block obtained her Veterinary Medical Doctor degree at the University of Pennsylvania in 2010.

Dr. Block was a distinguished member of the Dean’s List at the University of Pennsylvania for the years 2008, 2009, and 2010. In addition, Dr. Block was recognized with the Ziskind Prize for Food Animal Medicine in 2010. She is an active member of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners-(AABP), the American Association of Small Ruminant Practitioners – (AARSP), and the Society of Theriogenology, (SFT).

In her free time, Dr. Block enjoys relaxing with her husband, cooking, kayaking, throwing the ball for her dog Darwin, and catching the occasional trout (in spite of her terrible fly-casting!).
