Dr. Terri L. Jackson completed undergraduate studies in biology and chemistry at Western Oregon State College. Her doctorate in veterinary medicine was completed in 1998 at Oregon State University. A native of Salem, Dr. Jackson has not strayed far from home. After 13 years of practice in Dallas, she joined the Woodburn and Sequoia Veterinary teams in September, 2011. She practices exclusively small animal medicine, with special interests in behavior, internal medicine cases, dermatology, and pocket pet medicine (rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, mice, hamsters).

She is active in the Marion-Polk Veterinary Association. She is an active patrol mentor, merit badge counselor, and Eagle mentor for her sons' Boy Scout troop and enjoys running, gardening, and baking with what little free time remains!
